Not much is known about this piece. Dealers and Historians have invested years in an attempt at deciphering the title alone. It's understood that the backdrop is of the West Indies and the woman depicted is of Spanish ancestry. Beyond that is anyone's guess! Excellent craftsmanship and the mystery surrounding "Africora" have turned just another Stone Lithograph into quite a conversation piece.
