ARTIST JON JANNOTTA AT
Las Vegas Architect makes fine art debut at Art encounter
Las Vegas based Architect Jon Jannotta debuted his artistic creations during a one night only public reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday May 21, 2015 at the Art encounter gallery.
For the past 35 years Jannotta has been designing commercial and residential projects in Las Vegas and several western states. Jannotta’s creative approach to design has earned him numerous design awards. Past clients include Andre Agassi and Bob Dylan.
Jannotta’s fascination with the structure and geometry of his craft lead him to a love of creating new designs, full of vibrant colors, from photo images of prominent architecture. His blend of precise color accents over photo prints provides a new, never before seen, fine art experience. “Seeing something this new and fresh in the art world is rare” said Art encounter Executive Director, Scott Ferguson. “It is truly unique, and fascinating”.
Jannotta obtained his Bachelors in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University (Cal –Poly) in San Luis Obispo, California and his Master’s Degree in Architecture in 1971 from UCLA. Painting since his childhood, his fine art talents were largely kept to himself. However, recently his works have caught the attention of private collectors such as chef Julian Serrano of the Picasso Restaurant, Bud Yorkin, Executive Producer of the television show “All in the Family”, and Rudy Ruettiger, noted inspirational speaker and creator of the motion picture titled “Rudy”.
“We are looking forward to seeing the public response to Jon’s work” said Art encounter President and PAWN STARS art expert Brett Maly. “I like the concept and the finished art…His one artist showing should be a lot of fun”.
