Description

Salvador Dali (1904-1989) was a prominent Spanish Catalan surrealist painter born in Figueres, Spain. Dali was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surreal work. Dali’s painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. Dali’s expansive artistic repertoire included film, sculpture, and photography. This is an original Intaglio etching in black ink printed in 1964, signed in pencil by Salvador Dali. It is an excellent impression with a light pale tone, on pale cream wove BKF Rives paper. The work is in wonderful condition currently framed using conservation materials and UV protection acrylic.
