Description
This playful etching from the 347 Series was created by Pablo Picasso on the 5th of August, 1968. Entitled, Bearded Man with a Hat Adorned with a Bell in English, this etching was created by the master with the assistance of the famous Parisian print makers, Aldo and Piero Crommelynck in their workshop, or atelier, located near the artist’s Mougins residence.
This fine sharp impression is numbered 40 out of the very small edition of only 50. There were 22 artist’s proofs aside from the numbered edition. This example was created before the steel facing and the beveling of the plate.
Signed by the artist in the lower right and numbered lower left, this work of art has been beautifully framed by our own award winning framing division using only conservation materials.
