Keeping with Pop Art tradition, Steve Kaufman paid homage to icon, Marilyn Monroe in this mixed media original Oil/Silk Screen print on canvas. Not a part of the regular limited edition, this work of art, created in 2008, is completely over painted with hand embellishments by Kaufman.
Steve Kaufman (1960 – 2010) was an American Pop artist, fine artist, sculptor, stained glass artist, filmmaker, photographer and humanitarian. His entry into the world of serious Pop Art began in his teens when he became assistant to Andy Warhol at the Factory studio.
