Description
This whimsical lithograph was created by Salvador Dali in 1973. One of only two sports related works of art, The Golfer has a playful approach on the subject, surrounding the stylish aficionado with palm trees in a country club setting, decked out in an implied tweed jacket, tie and plus fours.
Perfect for the golf enthusiast, this work is inscribed with the initials, E.A. (épreuve d’artiste) in the lower left margin, meaning, Artist’s Proof. The work is titled in the center and signed by Salvador Dali in the lower right. The work has been well cared for and the paper remains unstained and bright.
The work is beautifully framed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
