The deep bas relief, referred to as a psedudoscopic relief print incorporates a mixture of printmaking methods including, dry point etching, lithography, embossing and fine gold embossing. The fine gold embossing is in reference to the special Remarque in the upper center quadrant of the image, depicting a bird capturing a fish (Oiseau Phoenix). This work of art is numbered, 43 from the small edition of only 90 in the lower left corner and signed by the artist in the lower right in graphite. The total edition size is 270 signed and numbered works with the following justification: 90 remarqued, Amphore Metamophique, 90 remarqued, Grotte d’Or and 90 remarqued, Oiseau Phoenix.

The work of art measures, 23 x 31 unframed and 31 x 40 framed. The artwork has been framed showing both sides, revealing the depth of the embossment.
